We will concentrate on the study of the Icon of Sts. Peter and Paul for session 2 and the Icon of St. Mary Magdalene for session 3. More information to follow.
The images set forth will give realization to our innate desire to strive for the beautiful in our longing for God and theology as the experiential pathway to knowledge and communion with Christ. For in the book, The Pain- An Orthodox Scriptural and Patristic Approach they say that “the beauty of the world is revealed through a mist of tears”. And that “the best is purchased only with great pain”. And furthermore, that “we must through much tribulation enter into the Kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:22b)
