BLESSING OF CANA ICON AND DIVINE MERCY on Thursday, March 9, at 7 p.m., in the Church. The icons will be blessed by a Maronite-Rite priest, and from there we will move to the Msgr. Foran Great Room where iconographer Deb Korluka will give a brief talk on the imagery found in the two new icons.

WEDDING AT CANA ICON
Christ’s first public miracle was at the wedding in Cana at which His Disciples and His Mother were present. Christ blessed water to become wine. It is this first miracle that through His close relationship with His Mother that we can learn from the words of Mary to all that follow Him, “Whatever He says do it”. Amen.Amen.Amen. The icon reveals the sign of most Apostles that when they were called, they left everything and followed. Whatever Christ touches, always becomes the best within its nature, such is the blessing of water into wine.
